Privacy Policy
Effective October 26, 2026
Saygleam is a teleprompter app for iPhone made by Linh Nguyen (“we”). We built it to work without collecting your data. This policy covers the Saygleam app and this website.
Your speech
To follow your voice, the app listens through the microphone while the prompter runs. Speech is recognised on your iPhone and is not recorded or stored by the app.
Some languages can't be recognised on every iPhone. For such a language, the app asks you first, and only if you allow it is your speech sent to Apple's speech recognition over the internet, under Apple's privacy policy. It is never sent to us. You can keep the app offline for a language by saying no; the script then scrolls at the speed you set.
Your scripts
Scripts you write or import are stored only on your iPhone. There is no Saygleam account, and we have no server that receives your scripts.
Purchases
Subscriptions are sold and handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your name, email or payment details; Apple tells the app only whether your subscription is active.
No tracking
The app and this website have no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no cookies, and they load nothing from other companies.
This website
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs (such as IP address, browser and the page asked for) to run and protect the service. We don't use these logs to identify you.
If you write to support, we use your email address and message only to answer you, and keep them only as long as needed for that.
Deleting your data
Delete a script in the app to remove it from your iPhone, or delete the app to remove all its data. To have your support emails deleted, ask us at the address below.
Children
Saygleam is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it on this page with a new effective date.
